Summer training arrangements for Under 9 & Under 11's

The holiday season is nearly upon us and the following arrangements have been agreed for this period.

Training for Under 9's and Under 11's will take place on FRIDAYS ONLY from 4:30 - 5:30pm at the track. This session is available for Monday, Friday and Saturday groups.

This will operate on the following dates;

  • JULY - 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th
  • AUGUST - 4th, 11th and 18th

It is hoped that the 18th August will be an informal, fun competition prior to groups resuming training at their normal times.

What a great days competition! Congratulations to all the athletes for giving their absolute best. On a near perfect day, there were some tremendous performances across the full range of events. Particular mention to Lucy Holden (1.61m) and the Girl's 4 x 100m relay team of Mhia, Katie, Tamar and Laura (50.1s) for breaking Inter County records.
